D&D with DM Eugene
D&D with DM Eugene
Many of us grew up with classic books like Redwall by Brian Jacques and Watership Down by Richard Adams, as well as classic Disney films like Robinhood or The Jungle Book. A more modern audience might be familiar with the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter and Avatar: The Last Airbender, or even the recent Magic: The Gathering "Bloomburrow" expansion. For all of those who have daydreamed of taking flight like young Wart in The Sword in the Stone or felt a draw toward the beauty and wonder of nature after seeing Fern Gully for the first time, Hit Point Press presents Humblewood: a high fantasy role-playing game featuring anthropomorphic animals who seek to explore and save a world filled with magic and wonder while exploring themes of humanity, balance, dignity, power, and of course personal growth and excellence. Come and play races inspired by animals the world over and let your love for nature bring new light and life to classes familiar or new in this unique adaptation to the D&D 5.5 rules set. The Feisty Goblin Gamehouse is pleased to add veteran Game Master Eugene Yeo to the standing rotation of evening games, and would like to invite anyone interested to come try a game suitable for all ages and experience levels.
Eugene Yeo is a local of New Ken who has been a player, DM, and GM for many systems over many decades. He brings to the table a love of worldbuilding and epic adventure blended with character-driven campaign arcs which provide the players a wide canvas where everyone at the table has the opportunity to tell the story of their character, their party, and their vision. Mr. Yeo's table features an even use of safety tools and a PG-13 standard of play where expectations, lines, and veils are clearly stated before the first roll of the dice. If you would like to try a game where player preference is given priority, role-play is encouraged and rewarded, and the open world of adventure is as close as your local gaming shop and as far as the snow-capped peaks of the Great Crest Mountains.
Join Eugene weekly. There is a $10 fee to play in store, since we pay our Dungeon Masters for their time and efforts. Please check with the store about character creation and requirements as well as the current level of players.
