D&D with DM Phillip

Phillip is a “forever DM” since Zanzer Tem’s Dungeon of the 1991 Black Box. More recently of the Feisty Goblin he has been running Curse of Strahd from 02/2024-07/2025, Monster Manual Extravaganza series of 02/2025-03/025, and now Pirates since 08/2025 and is slated to run until summer 2026.

His current style is inspired heavily by Mike Shea, aka Sly Flourish, and the 8 Steps of the Lazy Dungeon Master. www.slyflourish.com Specifically, he started with focusing on being a cheerleader for the characters giving them opportunities to do the things they want to do while making meaningful decisions to drive collaborative storytelling. He preps one game at a time with eyes on the next horizon, and he plays the game to find out what happens rather than driving the story to a specific ending.

Join Phillip weekly (Group A/Group B alternating). There is a $10 fee to play in store, since we pay our Dungeon Masters for their time and efforts. Check with the store to find out current player levels and character requirements.
