This workshop will teach a simple, effective approach to painting realistic skin tones on a miniature bust. This workshop covers how to use opaque underpainting to establish introductory temperature and volume before building highlights in an attempt to mimic realistic skintones! We will also try the standard miniature painting method using a pre-bottled wash. Participants will learn techniques for creating smooth transitions, enhancing contrast, and bringing character to a face with minimal complexity. Ideal for beginner and intermediate painters looking for fast, repeatable workflows for painting skin for both tabletop and parade ready models.
